He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Tortat and Mary Tortat (Reid); his son William Tortat, Sr.; and his daughter-in-law Donna Tortat. He is survived by: his wife Vera Venyak; and his children, Sandra Souza (Clarence Souza), Cindy Brown (Todd Brown) and Randy Tortat. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
