With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William M. Picton of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on March 29, 2022 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Picton and Isabelle Mabel Picton (Macintosh); and his siblings, John, Edward Picton, Catherine Smith and Eleanor Picton.

He is survived by: his sons, Richard Picton (Linda) of Bartonville, IL and Robert Picton (Linda) of Tarpon Springs, FL; his grandchildren, Charles, Lora, Kara, David, Lisa and Jason; and his great grandchildren, Owen, Isla, Laina and Willa.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.

“Dear Bob and Linda, Sam and I extend our deepest Sympathy to you and your Families. I met Mr. William Picton for the first time in Centralia Illinois in 1970 on a business trip for Western Elecrtic Company. He was a great Installer and made sure the job was done right. I liked his stories about flying the P51 Mustang during World War II. Because of service we live in a free Country today. May he rest in Heaven.”
