He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Emmett and Mary Estelle Keenan (Connelly); his daughters, Theresa Simmons and Kathleen Wukitsch; and his siblings, Robert Keenan and Delores Scovil.

He is survived by: his sons, Tim Keenan (Lesley) of Peoria and Paul Keenan (Kim) of Peoria; his grandchildren, Erin, TJ, Jeremy, Thomas and Mary; and his great grandchild Aaron.

Memorials may be made to St. Bernard's Church or OSF Children's Hospital.
