He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonso Serrano and Emilia Serrano (Guerrero); his wife Lupe Serrano; his grandson Juan; and his siblings, Roman, Fernando and Luisa.
He is survived by: his children, Mario Serrano (Rita) of Chillicothe, Angelo Serrano of Queretaro, Laura Caho (Jon) of Chillicothe and Tina Contreras (Raul) of Lexington, NC. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Edward's Catholic School.
