She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Thurston and Carrie Thurston; her children, Don Johnston of Peoria, IL, Donna Johnston-Segler of East Peoria, IL and Michael Landis of Peoria, IL; her grandchildren, Austin Johnston, Adrianna Swearingen, Devon Johnston, Damion Johnston (Jaimie), Dalton Johnston, Destiny Cody and Dillon Cody; and her siblings, Jim Thurston (Carol) of East Peoria, IL, Clarence Thurston of Kewanee, IL, Gary Thurston of Kewanee, IL, Sandra Thurston of Galesburg, IL., Gordon Thurston and Wilma Thurston. She was also cherished by eighteen great-grandchildren.
