With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Tomislav K. Zekan of Peoria, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Tomislav left this world on September 23, 2024 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Tomislav may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Tomislav touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Boze Zekan and Martha Zekan (Tesija); his wife Mary Zakic; his stepdaughter Pamela Buettner of Peoria; and his stepgrandchildren, Katherine, Matthew, Lucy, Gianna and Luke Buettner.
Memorials may be made for Masses in Tomislav's name.
