With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Terry D. Sopher of Peoria, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on December 31, 2023 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Sopher and Sandra Sopher (Duty); and his brother Eric Sopher (Rick). He is survived by: his son Douglas D. Hilst of Peoria, IL; and his siblings, Wendy Melaga (Terry) of Peoria Heights, IL, Jennifer Stout (Tracy) of Florence, SC and Chris Sopher of Maricopa, AZ.. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters in laws, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers and the absence of life insurance, memorials may be made to Mary Sopher.
