He is survived by: his wife Terri Pates of Hampton, GA; his son Stanley Pates, Jr. (Makida Statam) of Peoria, IL; and his siblings, Fredrick Pates (Susan) of Peoria, IL, Arletta Pates-Mixon of Chicago, IL, Ethel (James Meeks) of Peoria, IL, Regina Pates of Chicago, IL and Monique Pates Thompson of Covington, TN. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
