With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley A. Gaffney (Peoria, Illinois), who passed away on May 11, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Shirley has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Damm and Julianna Damm (Rosen); her sister Barb Overend; and her nephew Chris Overend. She is survived by: her daughter Julianna Herron (Levi) of Peoria; and her siblings, Gene Damm (Kim) and Cindy Finger (Gerry). She is also survived by 7 nieces and nephews.
