She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Katz and Herman Katz; her husband Gerald Slavney; her sister Hermoise Mamay of Bethesda; and her son Jeffrey Paul.
She is survived by: her children, Beth Lehman (Gary) of Memphis, David (Susan) of St. Louis and Gary (Laura) of Memphis; and her grandchildren, Eric Lehman, Natalie Chavez (Ismael), Adam Slavney, Matthew Slavney and William Slavney.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Rabbi Danziger's Discretionary Fund at Temple Israel, Baptist Trinity Hospice House, or a charity of the donor's choice.
