He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Hopkins and Virginia Hopkins (Williams); and his siblings, Charles Kevin Hopkins and Alice Deck. He is survived by: his siblings, Ethel Selvey, Dallas Floyd Hopkins (Joann), Elaine Jorgensen (Roger), Mary Hopkins (Jack Bigelow), Marshall Hopkins, Janet Koonce (Mark), Darryl Hopkins (Phuong) and Karen Hopkins (Charly Eberle). He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews; 17 great- nieces and nephews.
