Ronny L. Sebring Obituary

Ronny "Ron" L. Sebring, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Ron was born on December 30, 1949 in Peoria to Lawrence "Larry" Sebring and Esther G. Wilder-Sebring. He married M. Jane Lawson on September 30, 1975 in Galesburg, IL.

He is survived by his wife, Jane; one son, Ron (Claire) Sebring of Waleska, GA; three daughters, Holly (David) VanDyke of Pekin, IL, Jeanette Watts of Peoria and Melissa (Rick) Nieders of Commerce, GA. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Sara (Darrin), Brittnee, Cameron (Lindsey), Ashley, Colin, Alisha and Alexis; four great-grandchildren, Drift, Rylee, Camille and Rhett and one brother, Larry Sebring of Casa, AR. Ron was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jim and Mike Sebring and two grandchildren, Blake and Gretchen.

His passion for music led him to be an avid collector of records. Ron was retired from the music world, where he traveled the United States following his dreams of music. Another great hobby of his was gardening. He also had a deep passion for his family, always caring for everyone, offering advice or just listening when an ear was needed.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
