He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Singer and Marian Singer. He is survived by: his spouse Sandy Hoerr; his children, Kari Holland (Joey) of Peoria and Cory Singer (Kara) of Frankfort, IL; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Luke Holland, Cal and Sam Singer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
