Welch, Henry Welch Jr. (Sonny) and Eddie Mae Harris; his brother-in-law James Coats; and his foster siblings, Aaron Houston, Wilbur Smith and Charlotte Houston.
He is survived by: his wife Irma Costic; his sons, Jason, Jerame Costic, Shane Parker (Shielondria) and Mike Albert (Jennifer); his siblings, Jerome Costic (Lynne), Michael Welch, Jacqueline McKinley of Peoria, IL, Joann Coats of Peoria, IL and Bernice Anderson of Forney, TX; his sister-in-law Barbara Cagle-Welch of Peoria, IL; his foster sisters, Denise Vachonn Davison (Fred) of Belleville, IL and Sandy Houston of Denver, CO; and his nephew Anthony Washington of California.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church (711 E Arcadia Ave, Peoria, IL 61603). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
