He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Green and Angelina Green (Vaughn); his wife Geraldine; his brother Jerome Green; and his grandchildren, Avi Nunn and Terry Bennett.

He is survived by: his children, Rodger Bernard Green (Joanna Marshall) of Chicago, IL and Rhonda Holley (Terry) of Peoria, IL; and his grandchildren, Aaron Holley, Tierra Malone (Richie) and Amier Holley. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
