It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard P. O'Connor Jr. (Peoria, Illinois), who passed away on March 10, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard P. O'Connor Sr. and Ruth C. O'Connor (Kupfer). He is survived by: his wife Anitra Lindquist of Peoria; his children, Kerstin O'Connor (Tim Christiansen) of Chicago, Paul O'Connor of Rolla, MO and Martin O'Connor (Maurissa) of Champaign; his granddaughters, Clara and Alice Christiansen; and his siblings, John O'Connor of Dubuque, IA and Peggy O'Connor of Lincoln, NE..

In respect of Richard's career in infectious disease and dedication to the care of others, the family request all attendees wear a mask.

Memorials may be made to Salem Lutheran Church, Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, or U of I College of Medicine at Peoria.
