It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Harper (Peoria, Illinois), born in Wood River, Illinois, who passed away on September 6, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Brenda Harper. He is survived by: his parents, Ralph Harper and Vivian Harper (Miller); his spouse Bonnie Kirsch; his children, Jason Harper of Peoria and Melisa Harper-Gibb of Marquette Heights; and his grandchildren, Brandin Gibb, Bradie Gibb, Collin Harper and Brooklynn Harper.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Richard's memory to OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home.
