We bid farewell to Philip L. Theobald of Peoria, Illinois, born in Galesburg, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 4, 2024 at the age of 83. Philip touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip C. Theobald and Marilee Ayres Theobald; his brother Ronald Theobald; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Isaacson and Dan Dalton.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lind; his daughters, Erin Berry (Kevin) of Marquette, MI and Andra Chamberlin (Jason) of Canton, IL; his stepdaughter Susan Stairwalt of Westfield Center, OH.; his grandchildren, Shaun Shepard (Grant), Riley Devlin, Jace Chamberlin (Kenzie) and Alexandra Chamberlin; his stepgrandchildren, Anthony Francis and Rhonnie Storesina (Ryan); his great grandchild Thea Shepard; and his siblings, Gary Theobald (Jean), Ed Theobald (Cathy), Pat Isaacson of Galesburg and Jane Young of Galesburg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Peoria Journal Christmas Fund, in partnership with The Salvation Army.
