We are sad to announce that on June 30, 2024, at the age of 84, Pettus Thomas Morris Jr. of Peoria, Illinois, born in Martinsville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Susie Geoghegan Morris and Pettus Thomas Morris, Sr. (Virginia) of Martinsville; and the mother of his children Helen Cox Ferguson. He is survived by: his close friend Carol Burling; his sons, John D. Morris (Cindy) of Peoria, Stephen M. Morris (Joy) of Peoria and Thomas Kenneth "T. K." Morris (Natasha) of Zionsville; his grandchildren, Jordan Morris (Adria) of Nashville, Taylor Morris of Peoria, Robert "Bobby" Morris of Peoria, Cal, Hannah and Isaiah Morris of Zionsville; his sisters, Susan Thompson, Libby Wharton (Mike) of Fredericksburg and Virginia; and his nephews, Jeff Thompson, Brian Thompson and Ben Wharton.
