Clayton of Peoria, Illinois, born in Beardstown, Illinois, who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth K. Perkins and Hazel M. Filbert (Daniel); her husband James R. Clayton; and her stepfather Meredith Filbert. She is survived by: her children, Rick Clayton of Maple Park, IL and Susan Allen (Greg) of Huntley, IL; and her siblings, Rita Maddex of Metamora, IL and Mark Filbert (Tom Strickland) of Aurora, CO..
