She was predeceased by: her parent Pearlie Thomas (Jackson); her spouse Isaiah Staples, Sr.; her children, Isaiah Staples, Jr. and Janie Henry; and her sisters, Verlene Ross, Rosie Mudd and Cora Love.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Henry (Katherene), James Staples (Barbara Eagen), Waymond Colter (Paulette Owens) of Peoria, Vera Mays and Trina Colter (Charles Johnson); and her sister Catherine Holliman of Greenville, MS. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
