It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norman E. Schaer (Peoria, Illinois), who passed away on February 7, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman P. Schaer and Vivian Schaer (Loveless). He is survived by: his wife Joyce K. Shanklin of Spring Bay; his children, Angela Tilley (Dave) of Spring Bay, Aaron Schaer of St. Cloud, MN and Abigal McClain (Natalie) of Kansas City, MO; his grandsons, Bradley Lange (Kayla) and Alex Lange; his great grandchildren, Kiera, Vivi, Ozzy, Zakary and Ronnie; and his sister Nancy Draggist of Spring Bay.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Spring Bay Rescue Squad, 310 West Missouri Street, Spring Bay, IL 61611 or to RiversEdge United Methodist Church, 500 North Chicago Street, East Peoria, IL 61611.
