She was predeceased by : her parents, Jack Eppel and Mary Eppel; her husband Dave; and her siblings, Betty and John Eppel.

She is survived by : her stepchildren, Liz Sturgell (Justin) of Aurora, MO, Mark Sager (Teresa) of Peoria, Matt Sager (Jaci) of Colleyville, TX and Susan Culp (Rob) of Peoria; her grandchildren, Kathy, Kevin, Brandon, David, Will, Brady, Jack, Joe, Mitch, Charlie, Evan and Tyler; her aunt Kathleen; her caregiver Dr. O'Rourke; and also Day Out.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Philomena Catholic Church (1000 W Albany Ave, Peoria, IL 61604). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be given to Sophia's Kitchen at 105 N. Richard Pryor Pl.
