He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Kloet and Berdina Kloet (Van Donsel); his son John; and his siblings, Jenny and William.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Devitt; his sons, Peter (Mary) of Naples, FL and Tom (Margaret) of Bluffton, SC; his daughter-in-law Mary Kloet of Bettendorf, IA.; his grandchildren, Kathleen Jacobs (Brian) of New Market, MD, Paul of Omaha, NE, Mark (Debbie) of Geneva, IL and Megan Gill (James) of Elmhurst, IL; his great grandchildren, Carly, Luke, Andrew, Noel Jacobs, Connor, Reed Kloet and Peter Gill; and his sister-in-law Joyce Devitt of Burnsville, MN. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Martin's name may be made to the Father Schubert or Sister Mary Ann Endowment at St Patrick Church.
