He was predeceased by: his mother Letha Kaye Young; his grandmother Annette Brown Adams; and his nephew Ashlin Maddickes, Jr.. He is survived by: his father Mark Wayne Adams of Peoria, IL; his son Zion Byrd-Adams of Chicago, IL; and his siblings, Tomika Adams, Char'De Adams, Vanity Adams of Wisconsin, Velanie Adams of Chicago, IL, Jade Young of Denver, CO, Pierre Starks of Chicago, IL and Vestee Adams of Wisconsin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ward Chapel A. M. E. Church (511 North Richard Allen Drive, Peoria, IL 61605). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location.
