She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy B. Whitaker and Reva Brassfield Whitaker; and her brother Lee Whitaker. She is survived by: her children, Seth King of Peoria, IL, Shari Anderson of Peoria, IL, R. Todd King (Kathy) of San Antonio, TX and Reva Shoopman (Tim) of Peoria, IL; her grandchildren, Johnathan King, Melissa Gordon (Mike), Sabre Anderson, Tyler Anderson, Brooke Milner (Zach), Briana Wright (Adam), Logan King and Travis Shoopman; and her sister Sara Partridge of San Antonio, TX. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Wilton Mortuary (2101 Knoxville Ave, Peoria, IL 61603). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Swan Lake Memory Gardens (W Rte 150, Millbrook Township, IL 61615).
