With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Madison Steen of Peoria, Illinois, born in Springfield, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2024 at the age of 28. As Madison departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Madison may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Madison leaves behind.
She is survived by: her parents, Traci Steiger (Rose) of Delavan, IL and Gary Steen of Peoria; her siblings, Bird Steen of Peoria and Cassi Anderson (Jon) of Austin, TX.; and her significant other Dylan Daymude of Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to TAPS No-Kill animal shelter in Pekin or honor Maddie by going on a walk, watch a sunset, cuddle with a cat, or listen to your favorite playlist.
