With solemn reverence, we commemorate Luella J. Bahr of Peoria, Illinois, whose life came to an end on April 12, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Schoff and Bertha Schoff (Sleeth). She is survived by: her husband Wilbur Bahr; her children, Brad Bahr (Michelle) of Midland, MI and Jill Spilotro (Mark) of Georgetown, TX.; her grandchildren, Kirsten Bahr, Shannon Altheide (Steve), Livia Medina (Arturo), Talia Spilotro, Celia Solomon (Nicholas) and Sophia Bibbey (Scotty); her great grandchildren, Patrick, Addison Altheide, Samson, Fleur-Marie, Felix Horne and Travis Solomon; and her sister Sharon Tripp (James). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (116 NE Perry Ave, Peoria, IL 61603).
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Peoria or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
