She was predeceased by: her husband Brian Irby; her grandparents, Margaruiete Polk and Thomas Clyde Alderson; her sister Jackie Teaque; her stepbrother Derreck Wells; and her stepson Kelsy Coleman.
She is survived by: her parents, Flosie Washington and Jerry Jones; her children, Tatyona, Serenity (Deaton), Anthony, Gavin, Jonathan and Kelsey; her siblings, Kenny Alderson, Chyncinta Alderson (DeeDee), Aletha McClain and Kissy Teaque; and her close friends, Aquarius Franklin and Shawnice. She is also survived by Four stepsons; Four stepdaughters; Nineteen grandchildren; Two great-grandchildren; Four brothers-in-law; Seven sisters-in-law, Two uncles; three aunts.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sovereign Grace M. B. Church (1505 W Martin St, Peoria, IL 61605). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
