She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Unes and Sadie Unes (Abraham); her husband George P. Shadid; her son George P. Shadid, Jr.; and her siblings, Lawrence, Ken, Donald, Harriet Bostany (Fred), Helen Domenighini (John) and Maurice Joseph.
She is survived by: her son James Shadid (Jane); her daughter-in-law Mikie Shadid; her grandchildren, James Shadid (Anne), Joseph Shadid (Lauren Powell), Margaret Shadid (Grant Bosnich) and Lauren Shadid; her siblings, Norma Joseph, Leonard (Eileen) and David (Marie); and her sisters-in-law, Patricia Unes (Murphy), Carol Unes (Bonucchi) and Sue Weaver (Gary).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Sharbel Church (2914 W Scenic Dr, Peoria, IL 61615). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the George P. Shadid, Jr. Memorial Scholarship at Bradley University or to Easterseals- Autism Services or The OSF Richard L Owens Hospice Home.
