Lloyd E. Nevin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2025, at the age of 91, Lloyd E. Nevin (Peoria, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Lloyd find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward S. Nevin and Edna Nevin (Schmitt); his wife Roberta S. Lasswell; his daughter Michelle Goerecki; his grandson Michael Nevin, Sr. (Brittaney); and his great grandchildren, Makenzie, Michael, Jr. and Madelynn.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Philomena Catholic Church (1000 W Albany Ave, Peoria, IL 61604). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors.
