She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Wadia Joseph (Sham); and her sister Julia McDonald of Texas. She was also cherished by her family and friends.

From the moment she invited this little 5 yr old kid to sit with her in choir my life changed. Along with her sister Gloria they made St. Sharbel's choir home. She loved the dabke, sharing stories sometimes shocking but always funny. Life lessons in beautiful story packages. She was the angel that sang in my ear and she was the poet of my heart. She was a gift. RIP my dearest Aunt Laurice,”
