With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of LaShawnda Yvonne Irby of Peoria, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2025 at the age of 48. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Brian Irby; her grandparents, Margaruiete Polk and Thomas Clyde Alderson; her sister Jackie Teaque; her stepbrother Derreck Wells; and her stepson Kelsy Coleman.
She is survived by: her parents, Flosie Washington and Jerry Jones; her children, Tatyona, Serenity (Deaton), Anthony, Gavin, Jonathan and Kelsey; her siblings, Kenny Alderson, Chyncinta Alderson (DeeDee), Aletha McClain and Kissy Teaque; and her close friends, Aquarius Franklin and Shawnice. She is also survived by Four stepsons; Four stepdaughters; Nineteen grandchildren; Two great-grandchildren; Four brothers-in-law; Seven sisters-in-law, Two uncles; three aunts.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sovereign Grace M. B. Church (1505 W Martin St, Peoria, IL 61605). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
