It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry F. McKinney of Peoria, Illinois, born in Hannibal, Missouri, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis V. McKinney and Wanda McKinney (Bridgeman); his brothers, Harold McKinney and Donnie McKinney; and his brother-in-law Melvin Durre.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Patton (Michael) of Peoria, David McKinney (Amy) of Tennessee, Marc Chapman (Heather) of Indiana, Cindy McKinney of Tennessee and Angie Schurter (Tim) of North Carolina; his siblings, Mary Durre of Florida, Art McKinney (Teresa) of Indiana and Ronnie McKinney (Starla) of Ohio; his pet Sassy; his sisters-in-law, Jennie Ann Ice of Peoria and Dorothy Lynn of Peoria; his wife Carolyn D. McKinney; and also, Angela Bennett (Ray) and Melissa Hackett (Andrew) of Kansas. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
