He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bell Sr. and Ann Bell; his siblings, Billy, Michael and Joann Hargrow; and his granddaughter Tamara Rivers.

He is survived by: his children, Angelica Herrod (Maurio), LaQueena Bell (Jorge Perez), Latasha Dawson, Larry Bell (Kelsey) and Eric Bell (Christina); and his stepson Juan Garza-Whitby (RaeAnn) of Peoria Illinois. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and 8 step-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
