He was predeceased by: his parents, Azell Mackey and Herscile Louise Mackey (Tyler); his son Todd R. Mackey; his grandson Tramell Mackey; and his son-in-law Amon R. West.
He is survived by: his children, Kurshawna Mackey of Hazelwood, MO, Kurt Mackey of Peoria, IL, Tyler Johnson of Peoria, IL and Kevon Lee Mackey of Peoria, IL; his siblings, Anita Bailey (Monroe) of Canton, IL, Lynn Wirebaugh (Scott) of Canton, IL, Samuel Mackey of Canton, IL and Joe Mackey of Canton, IL; and his close friend Carolyn Reynolds. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
