She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ommen and Eileen Ommen (Kahrs). She is survived by: her children, Sarah Siegrist (Dave) of Bloomington, Monica Knapp of Wilmington and Benjamin Knapp (Tanya) of Washington; her grandchildren, Emily, Jeremy, Megan, Logan, Anthony, Justin and Ben; her great grandchildren, Oliver, Finn and Greyson; and her brothers, Joel and Jim Ommen.

Memorial contributions may be made in Kathy's name to the Sun Foundation.
