With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katherine Hoerr of Peoria, Illinois, born in Sabetha, Kansas, who passed away on April 15, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hess and Elsie Hess (Grimm); her brother Eugene Hess; and her brother-in-law Robert Binkele. She is survived by: her husband Max P. Hoerr; her sons, Robert Hoerr (Myrna) of Germantown Hills, Steven Hoerr (Susan) of Chillicothe and Max II Hoerr (Suzanne) of Congerville; her grandchildren, Joshua Hoerr (Bethany), Jesse Hoerr (Joanna), Mindy Kaisner (Mike), Tamara Eaton (Kyle), Kristin Maher (Chris), Louis Hoerr (Briana), Emma Hoerr, Hattie Hoerr, Sarah Beyer (Tim), Rebekah Guth (Geoffrey), Rosie Hoerr, Martha Berger (Tim), Andrew Hoerr (Dawn), Rachel Wettstein (Rex) and Miriam Knapp (Josh); her sister Bernetta Binkele; and her sister-in-law Rhoda Hess. She is also survived by 36 great-grandchildren and 1 foster great-grandson.
