Josephine Wendland Obituary

In loving memory of Josephine Wendland of Peoria, Illinois, who departed this world on January 1, 2025 at the age of 83. Josephine leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Franklin and Josephine Franklin (Beach); her husband James "Jim" Wendland Sr.; and her son-in-law Mike Floyd. She is survived by: her children, Shirlee Zook (Chris) of Bartonville, Robin Floyd of Peoria and Jim Wendland Jr. (Tina) of Peoria; her grandchildren, Sarah Wendland (Jerrod Coryell), Ashley Nakayama (Takashi), Megan Moulton (Bryan) and Cassidy Tuley (Blake); her great grandchildren, Austin, Ava Tuley, Lynn, Nate Nakayama, Hayes and Poppy Moulton; her sister Mary Darlene Lloyd; her nephew James Franklin; her close friend Amy Floyd; and her adoptive daughter Donna Hardin.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel (1203 W Garfield Ave, Bartonville, IL 61607). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
