With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Lee Rogers Sr. of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on November 6, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Desmond Rogers and Blanche Rogers (McGee); his wife Martha Crain; his children, Jennifer Hall and Jack Sherrill; and his great grandchild John "Buzz" Williams III.
He is survived by: his children, Meredith Sherrill (Jack) of Aurora, Joseph Rogers (Jennifer) of Littleton, CO and Debra Brown (Randy) of Peoria; and his brother Desmond "Butch" Rogers of Pinckneyville. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.
