With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Anthony Thomas Jr. of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on November 5, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thomas and Helen Thomas (Doty); and his brother Vern Thomas. He is survived by: his son Joe; his wife Janet "Jan" Wood; his children, Rick Thomas (Dawn) of Peoria, Pat Peters (Joe) of Normal and Leslie Branch (Chuck); his grandchildren, Brittany Allison, Austin Thomas, Kyle Kusch, Ashley Kusch, Josh Branch, Cory Branch (Michelle), Matthew Branch and Aubrey Branch; his great grandchildren, Titus and Charlotte Branch; and his brother Bob Thomas.
