Jon E. Lickey Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jon E. Lickey of Peoria, Illinois, born in Richmond, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Lickey and Lillian Stephens Lickey; his uncle Billy; his aunt Elaine; his stepmother Edna Mae; and his brother David.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Hoerle; his children, Virginia Greer (Scott) of Georgetown, IN and Jon Nathan Lickey (Jessica) of Anderson, IN.; his granddaughters, Isabella Greer, Elizabeth Lickey, Susannah Lickey and Taylor Greer; his siblings, Ella May "Carol", Glenn, Daniel, Sheri, Jason, Ginger, Dennis, Hazel, Robert "Bobby" and Faye; and his stepsister Shirley.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Grace Presbyterian Church (8607 IL-91, Peoria, IL 61615). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
