It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Isadore Ilya Mendel of Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 21, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Joe Mendel and Mary Mendel of Chesterfield, MO; his brothers, Mike Wilson (Beth Rapoff) and Matthew Mendel; his nieces and nephews, Finn and Charlotte Wilson; his aunts, Darlene, Sharon and Helen; and his great-uncle Phil. He is also survived by Uncle Al and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at 7230 Dale Ave, Richmond Heights, MO 63117. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
