He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Marie Grow (Heinlein). He is survived by: his parents, John Anthony "Tony" and Maria Rosa Grow (Martinez); his children, Kelli Rose, Jack Michael Grow, John Luke Grow (US Navy) and Shelby Marie Grow; his grandchildren, Grayson of Peoria and Leon of Peoria; and his siblings, Javier Grow (Barb) of Florida, Tommy Grow (Jenny) of Florida and Linda Johnston (Matt) of Springfield, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and God-children.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philomena Catholic Church (1000 W Albany Ave, Peoria, IL 61604).
Memorials may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
