He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Harris and Pearl Harris (Hall); his siblings, Harry, Richard Harris, Ruby Harris, Katie Vito and Edith Neal; and his grandson Bradley Harris.

He is survived by: his wife Jane F. Burkardt; his children, Brad Harris of Pekin, IL, Anjanette Harris of O'Fallon, MO and Susan Dobyns of Peoria, IL; his grandchildren, Joshua, Jenna, Alek, Nathaniel, Lauren and Natasha; and his great grandchildren, Sydney, Evan, Cora Dobyns, Gabriel, Amara Gallardo, Lyrika Yvonne Harris, Jayce, Ayden Nixon and Maeve Schaeg.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Catholic School.
