She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Heyd and Alice Heyd; her granddaughter Jenny Martinez; and her siblings, Charlie Heyd, Joseph Heyd and Mary Ann Heyd.

She is survived by: her husband Jim Schaber; her children, Marianne Martinez of Longmont, CO, Mike Schaber (Gina) of Peoria, IL, Steve Schaber of Silt, CO, Marty Schaber (Sherri) of Atlanta, GA, Dr. Annette Gutzwiller (Jeff) of Peoria, IL, Dr. Andy (Theresa) and Matt Schaber (Michelle) of Bloomington, IL; and her sister Patricia Callaway (James).

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Building Fund, for landscaping around the building.
