She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Gorman and Ellen Gorman (Kelly); her sister JoCele Williams; and her nephew Jeff Whitaker. She is survived by: her husband Greg; her son Stephen; her siblings, Steve Gorman (Peggy) of Chicago, IL, Kathy McNamara (Tom) of Savannah, GA, Sue Slover (Mark) of Peoria, IL, Mary Whitaker (Doug) of Bloomington, IL, Dick Gorman (Cindy) of Rockford, IL, Mike Gorman (Alice) of Peoria, IL and Ellen Cassidy (Drew) of Peoria, IL; and her brother-in-law Dave Williams. She is also survived by loving in-laws, 42 nieces and nephews, countless great-nieces and nephews, aunts, cousins and life-long friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (1113 W Bradley Ave, Peoria, IL 61606).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark's Catholic Church for a new sound system, so that many other beautiful voices may be heard.
