As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Janet may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred James "Jim" and Joyce Melton (Taylor); and her brother Mark Melton. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Smith of Edwards and Scott Nunan of East Peoria; her granddaughters, Ella Nunan, Stella Smith and Sophia Smith; and her pets, Joevy and Max.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Glendale Memorial Gardens (18119 IL-9, Pekin, IL 61554).
