James William Metz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James William Metz in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Metz and Hortense Metz; and his siblings, Urban, Elmer, Edward, Melvin, Jerry, John, Gladys Kron, Vivian Kleinschmidt, Dorothy Brophy, Donna Stumpf and Mary Angela.
He is survived by: his wife Rajet; his children, Scott (Michelle), Julie (Michelle) and Michelle; his grandchildren, Miranda, Claudia (Thomas Pellet), Alexander, Victor, Marcus, Julian, Ava, Peter and Danielle; and his sister Ann Walsh. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Illinois Association of Retired Firefighters or the Parkinson's Foundation.
