We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2022 we had to say goodbye to James L. Meehan Jr. of Peoria, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leo and Wanita I. Meehan (Dolajeck). He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Smith; and his siblings, LaRue Meehan of Monmouth, IL and Cecelia Murphy of Washington, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to any no kill animal shelter and K9's for Warriors (shelter dogs trained and used for veterans with PTSD).
